DLAC Ignite Upgrade Challenge

Official Rules

NO RANDOM DRAWING. THE WINNER WILL BE SELECTED BASED ON THE JUDGING CRITERIA DESCRIBED BELOW.

1. Sponsor

The DLAC Ignite Upgrade Challenge (“Challenge”) is sponsored by DLAC, LLC (“DLAC” or “Sponsor”).

2. Challenge Period

The Challenge begins when entries are opened and ends at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time on September 25, 2026 (“Challenge Period”).

All entries must be received by the end of the Challenge Period. Sponsor's designated entry system will serve as the official timekeeping device for the Challenge.

3. Eligibility

The Challenge is open to individuals who:

Are at least 18 years old at the time of entry;

Are registered attendees of DLAC Ignite Atlanta, taking place October 19–21, 2026;

Have an eligible hotel reservation within the official DLAC Ignite hotel block at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis at the time the Challenge closes; and

Meet all other requirements contained in these Official Rules.

Individuals who are not yet registered for DLAC Ignite or have not yet booked within the official hotel block may become eligible by completing both requirements before the Challenge deadline.

Employees of DLAC, LLC and individuals directly involved in administering or judging the Challenge are not eligible to enter.

Eligibility is subject to verification by Sponsor.

4. How to Enter

To enter, eligible participants must complete the official DLAC Ignite Upgrade Challenge entry form during the Challenge Period and respond to the following prompt:

“What put DLAC Ignite on your conference must-go-to list?”

Participants may respond using one of the following formats:

Write it: A written response of 25 words or fewer;

Say it: A video response no longer than 30 seconds; or

Show it: One photo or graphic.

Limit one (1) entry per person.

There is no advantage in the judging process based on the format selected. Professional production quality is not required and will not be considered as a separate judging criterion.

Entries that are incomplete, exceed the applicable length limits, are received after the deadline, or otherwise fail to comply with these Official Rules may be disqualified.

5. Entry Content Requirements

Entries must be the entrant's original work and must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party.

Entries must not contain material that Sponsor, in its reasonable discretion, determines to be unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, obscene, threatening, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate or inconsistent with the values of DLAC and the DLAC Ignite community.

If an entry includes identifiable individuals other than the entrant, the entrant is responsible for obtaining any necessary permission to submit and permit use of that content.

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these requirements.

6. Judging and Winner Selection

This Challenge is not a random drawing.

Following the close of the Challenge Period, the DLAC team will review all eligible entries and select one (1) potential winner based on the following weighted judging criteria:

Creativity — 40%

How memorable, original, or engaging is the response?

Authenticity — 30%

How genuinely does the response communicate what makes DLAC Ignite stand out to the entrant?

DLAC Ignite Spirit — 30%

How effectively does the response reflect the community, experience, connection, learning, or other qualities associated with DLAC Ignite?

The eligible entry receiving the highest overall score based on these criteria will be selected as the potential winner.

In the event of a tie, the tied entry receiving the higher Creativity score will be selected. If a tie remains, the entry receiving the higher Authenticity score will be selected.

All judging decisions are final.

7. Prize

One (1) winner will receive an upgrade of the winner's eligible existing hotel reservation at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis to a Presidential Suite during DLAC Ignite Atlanta.

The prize consists solely of the room upgrade described above. It does not include conference registration, transportation, airfare, meals, parking, hotel incidentals, additional hotel nights, or any other expenses unless expressly stated otherwise by Sponsor.

The prize may not be sold, and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash.

The room upgrade is subject to applicable hotel policies and the winner maintaining an eligible DLAC Ignite registration and qualifying hotel reservation.

If the winner cancels their qualifying hotel reservation or DLAC Ignite registration, or otherwise becomes ineligible before the prize is fulfilled, the prize will be forfeited and Sponsor may select the next highest-scoring eligible entry as an alternate winner.

8. Winner Notification

The potential winner will be notified using the email address provided with their Challenge entry on or before October 2, 2026.

The potential winner must respond within 48 hours of notification and may be required to verify their eligibility, DLAC Ignite registration, and qualifying hotel reservation.

If the potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within 48 hours, is determined to be ineligible, or declines the prize, Sponsor may select the next highest-scoring eligible entry as an alternate potential winner.

An entrant is not considered the official winner until Sponsor has confirmed eligibility.

9. Use of Entries

By entering, participants grant Sponsor permission to review their submitted materials for the purposes of administering and judging the Challenge.

If an entrant separately provides permission through the Challenge entry form for DLAC to use their submission in communications or marketing, the entrant grants DLAC, LLC permission to reproduce, display, publish, share, and otherwise use the submitted entry, in whole or in part, in DLAC-related websites, social media, emails, conference materials, and other promotional communications without additional compensation.

Declining marketing permission will not affect an entrant's eligibility or judging in the Challenge.

Entrants retain ownership of their original content.

10. Winner Announcement and Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, the winner may be asked to provide permission for DLAC to announce the winner's name, organization, likeness, and/or winning entry in connection with the Challenge and DLAC Ignite.

11. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who attempts to tamper with the entry process, provides false or misleading information, interferes with the administration or judging of the Challenge, or otherwise violates these Official Rules.

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, extend, or cancel the Challenge if circumstances beyond Sponsor's reasonable control materially affect its administration, security, fairness, or integrity.

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected, inaccessible, or otherwise unsuccessful entries or for technical failures that prevent an entry from being received.

Sponsor's decisions regarding the administration, eligibility, judging, and interpretation of these Official Rules are final.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, by participating in the Challenge, entrants agree to release and hold harmless DLAC, LLC and its officers, employees, representatives, agents, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from participation in the Challenge or acceptance or use of the prize, except where such limitation or release is prohibited by law.

The Atlanta Marriott Marquis and Marriott International are not responsible for the administration, judging, or winner selection of the Challenge.

13. Privacy

Information submitted in connection with the Challenge will be used to administer the Challenge, verify eligibility, communicate with entrants and the potential winner, and for other purposes to which an entrant has expressly consented.

14. Governing Law

These Official Rules and the Challenge are subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

15. Official Rules and Questions

By participating in the DLAC Ignite Upgrade Challenge, entrants agree to these Official Rules.
